What do we need at AHS to better handle the COVID-19 crisis? What do our patients need? We will advocate for whatever is needed at the bargaining table. What extra staffing do we need? For example: many hospitals around the world have staffed up EVS, float pools, RTs and other direct care workers, and SF DPH proposed hiring 170 RNs in the next 30 days.

What training is needed? What policies and procedures are missing or need to be clearer?
What time and leave protocols should happen? (For example, some cities have instituted paid leave for quarantine without deducting from your PTO).
What other measures should AHS or the county take? For example, some hospitals are doing a moratorium on layoffs, shift cancellations, and instituting triage tents, on-call shifts and corona response teams.
