Transportation will begin for scholars returning to campus Monday, 3/1/21.

Vision Prep has two bus routes available:
1. South Bus: Bus stop is located at M.J. Edwards Funeral Home, 5494 Elvis Presley Blvd, Memphis, TN 38116
2. North Bus: Bus stop is located at U-Haul 3201 Austin Peay Hwy, Memphis, TN 38128

Bus Schedule:
*AM Expectations: Buses will depart from the bus stop promptly at 7:10 am and arrive at Vision Prep no later than 7:30 am for scholars to eat breakfast.

*PM Expectations: Buses will arrive at Vision Prep by 3:30 pm and will leave campus no later than 3:35 pm. Parents will be asked to arrive at the bus stop by 3:50 pm.

Bus signup will close Wednesday, Feb. 24th at 4pm.

COVID-19 Expectations *

Please read and check each expectation below.

Parent/guardian must wait with their scholar(s) at the bus stop. Scholars cannot be left unattended.

Bus monitors will approach each car to take scholar temperatures. Temperatures at or above 100.4 F cannot attend school.

Scholars are required to wear masks before exiting vehicles. Scholar masks must be worn at all times while riding the bus.

Scholars are expected to maintain social distancing while on the bus.

Safety and Behavior Expectations *

Please read and check each expectation below.

Parents are expected to follow the AM and PM schedule. Once the bus is in motion, it will not stop to receive late arrivals. If a parent is late for bus stop pickup, the parent will be contacted by a bus monitor. Bus monitors will wait 10 minutes after the PM drop off time before written late notices are issued.

Scholars will cooperate with the bus driver and monitors. Scholars shall be respectful and not use obscene and/or abusive language. Use of aerosol sprays, perfumes, etc. is prohibited.

Screaming, yelling, or throwing items on the bus is prohibited.

No fighting, bullying, harrassment, or horseplay is allowed on the bus or at the bus stop.

Scholars are expected to enter and exit the bus in a safe and timely manner.

Scholars must stay seated on the bus at all times. Items and/or body parts should never block the aisle.

Scholars will not extend hands, arms, head or any body parts out of the windows.

Scholars will not tamper with equipment or vandalize the bus. Parents/guardians will be liable all damages.

Eating or drinking on the bus is prohibited.

Scholars not following expectations will be issued a community violation by the bus monitor. Community violations will be handled by VPCS administration.
