Aydin Senkut, Founder and Managing Partner at Felicis Ventures has had 7 IPOs and 55 acquisitions. His largest exits hold a current combined market value in excess of $200B.
Most notable exits include IPOs for Shopify, Adyen, Fitbit, Pluralsight, Guardant Health, and Opendoor. Cruise Automation was acquired by GM in 2016 for a reported $1B and enterprise Wi-Fi company Meraki was acquired by Cisco in 2012 for $1.2B. When his very first investment Soundhound closed a large round in 2018, it was valued in excess of $1B.
Aydin Senkut founded Felicis Ventures in 2006 and under his leadership, the firm’s portfolio has grown to more than 150 companies including 37 valued over $1B, 88 exits and total exit market cap of $66B+. Felicis was an early investor in Plaid and Credit Karma which was acquired by Intuit for $8.1B, making it the largest exit in FinTech to date. Senkut continues to grow the firm he founded and nurture a new generation of venture capital investors. He currently focuses on infrastructure, security and future of health.
Prior to Senkut's venture capital career, he was Google's first product manager, launching 10 international sites and becoming Google's first international sales manager. Prior, he immigrated from Istanbul, Turkey and attended Boston University where he earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He earned an MBA from the Wharton School and a Master’s degree in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania where he and his wife have endowed various scholarships. They also sponsor research on brain science, neuroscience, dyslexia and human longevity at Stanford and UCSF.
