Interested in building a Local Ecosystem Hub?

Healthy news ecosystems are diverse, interconnected, sustainable, and deeply engaged with their communities.

For the past five years, Democracy Fund has brought together local leaders who represent a diverse group of Local News Ecosystem Hubs. These organizations convene a broad range of stakeholders in ecosystem-building strategies. Some examples include the New Mexico Local News Fund, the Colorado Media Project, North Carolina Local News Lab Fund and Chicago Independent Media Alliance.

If you’re interested in creating a Local News Ecosystem Hub or already engaged in ecosystem-building work, we’d love to hear from you! Please fill out this form and we will contact you to discuss joining regular calls with other hub leaders across the country.
