Junior High Camp is a camp geared towards incoming 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th graders. We strive for our youth to leave with a sense of relationship to Christ through tangible and practical life applications. In addition, we encourage their growth towards outreach through their local churches and leadership in their own communities. In the best interest of safety for all involved, Junior High Camp will again be hosted on the platform Zoom, during the weeks of June 27th to July 9th. The exact dates of camp will be Sun 6/27, Mon 6/28, Wed 6/30, Fri 7/2, Mon 7/5, Wed 7/7, and Fri 7/9. All meetings will take place 7PM to 9PM PST. We still have the same fun and fellowship planned to help us grow in Christ together!

Our theme for this year's virtual camp is "Love is...". As Christians, we are called to love. We may initially think of love in the romantic sense, but it can also come in different forms. It can be experienced among friends, family, neighbors, and even people we don’t know. Through this year’s JHC, we will strive to redefine and expand our definitions of love by exploring what it is to us, what Christian love means, and how the unconditional love of Christ can be an example in all areas of our lives. We will consider ways we can better love those close to us and expand that love to people that we may not even know. We will also remind everyone that to understand love fully, we must love ourselves first; we can’t pour out love from an empty cup. We will look at ways we can put our faith into action, whether that be by showing love to ourselves or others. We want this theme to result in a deeper understanding of love, remind everyone that this camp community is a powerful example of God’s love in the flesh, and learn how we can bring this love into our own communities.
