Administrative Application Form
Welcome!  The Therapist Effect provides an opportunity to gain experience working in a private practice and coaching setting.  You will gain experience in the mental health field such as professional development, understanding private practice, marketing, coaching, and branding.  

We are looking for students in the fields of psychology, social work, public health, and/or related field.  Applicants/Interns will receive a letter of recommendation at the end of employment. **This is not for those seeking to gain hours for licensure.  

The internship work duties include but are not limited to:
  Administrative duties: data entry, managing emails and mail, conducting phone calls, managing calendars, maintaining files, etc.
Managing & contacting insurance companies, collecting payments, & submitting billing
Creating content for social media, presentations, and blog
Assist in creating content for social media
Work in collaboration with team
Interfacing with insurance providers to receive leads for new patients
Answer inquiries from private patients seeking service
Manage documentation needed to support billing for providers
Assist with onboarding new clients
Comply with and enforce all confidentiality rules regarding HIPAA healthcare

Requirements:
Lives in the Los Angeles area and is able to travel to Toluca Lake, if needed
Technical skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Customer service skills
An understanding of Google Mail and Cloud
Highly organized and detailed orientated
