BSA Outreach Coordinator Application 2021-2022
Dear Applicant,

Thank you for taking the time to read and fill out this application to become a part of the Biology Students’ Association Executive team for the following term: October 1, 2021 to April 30, 2022! This application is for the role of the Outreach Coordinator. This application will be open until September 30, 2021 (11:59 pm).

As an Outreach Coordinator you would be responsible for creating, implementing, and attending short-term and long-term volunteer programs for the BSA, in collaboration with myself and the rest of the Outreach team. This is a great opportunity to develop your own leadership skills and build volunteer experience.

Responsibilities of the Outreach Coordinator
1. Attend bi-monthly Outreach team meetings
2. Successfully develop a long-term volunteer program for BSA club members. The Outreach Coordinator shall design, create, and implement a long-term volunteer program for the biological sciences student body. This could be done through collaboration with other clubs and volunteer organizations. The purpose of this program is to offer students the opportunity to earn CCR hours through their BSA membership
3. Facilitate and organize other short-term volunteer events throughout the academic year. The Outreach Coordinator shall find volunteer opportunities for BSA club members and collaborate with the VP Internal and VP Marketing to communicate these opportunities with BSA members through our weekly newsletters and social media platforms.
