BFLC Community offers one-on-one consultant services for NYC Group Family Day Care Providers (GFDC)
with 12+4 licenses who are interested in submitting a proposal to NYC DOE to become a NYC Early Education Center. This is not a Network service - BFLC Community partners with GFDC's who want to become direct vendors with the City of New York. This means a GFDC who wants to go through the whole RFP DOE proposal process from submitting a proposal to negotiating a budget to becoming a DOE direct vendor for the NYC DOE 3K for ALL program.

During this consultation, we will discuss your licensing requirements, site information, business entity information, financial information, location and demographics, education and experience of owner/partners, and any other relevant information concerning your options to be able to submit an RFP to the City of New York.
BFLC Community will discuss with you all the DOE minimum requirements to becoming a NYC Direct Vendor.
BFLC Community can advise you on the DOE RFP process based on our years of experience but we can not guarantee any provider/company a NYC DOE contract. Also, it is the ultimate decision of the child care provider to make a decision that is best for their business.

Bronx - School Districts:  10, 11, 12
Brooklyn - School Districts:  13, 14, 15 17, 18 , 20, 21, 22
Queens - School Districts:  24, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30

- NYC GFDC'S WITH 12+4 LICENSE CAPACITY and NO OPEN VIOLATIONS

- GFDC DAYCARE IS LOCATED IN NEW YORK CITY (ANY OF THE 5 BOROUGHS)

- YOUR SPACE SHOULD BE AN OPEN SPACE PLAN OR HAVE THE POSSIBILITY OF OPENING THE SPACE

- YOU SHOULD HAVE AN OPEN SPACE WITH 400 SQ FEET + OR MORE DEDICATED TO THE DAYCARE

- THE OWNER SHOULD HAVE A MINIMUM OF HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA

- IF IN A BUILDING WITH ELEVATORS, YOUR DAYCARE CAN NOT BE HIGHER THAN THE 5TH FLOOR

- IF IN A BUILDING WITHOUT ELEVATORS, YOUR DAYCARE SHOULD BE IDEALLY FIRST OR SECOND FLR

After we receive your completed consultant services request, we will review the information and contact you by email or phone to setup payment and schedule date/time of the meeting. Our time and your time are valuable - please make sure you can attend the scheduled meeting and are prepared to send a minimum of 60 minutes with the consultant. They will be no refunds for no-shows for confirmed meetings.
