Penney Alldredge - I have been a parent at Phoebe Hearst for the past three years. I’m interested in increasing our students’ involvement with and outreach to the wider community, music and the arts, and making sure students with disabilities are well served.

Thuy Dao - Hi! I am a parent to a third grader and also two older kids who went through Phoebe and who are now a junior in college and a senior in high school. I served on the site council years ago when my two older kids were here to get involved and also lend a voice to the decision making process when it came to funds allocation and resources, and transition to common core. I would love to serve on the site council again as we face such unprecedented social, educational, and health issues that affect our strong community here at Phoebe. Once a dragon, always a dragon!!

Laurel Nava - "My name is Laurel Nava and I am a parent of a Phoebe Hearst student. I have also been working in education policy and administration for nearly 20 years. My professional background includes school finance work, writing and evaluating district and school site plans, and analyzing student data. Currently, I am Director of Education & Partnerships with California Information Technology in Education (CITE), where I work with technology staff in districts across the state. The work of the School Site Council and the resulting School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) is crucial for Phoebe Hearst's continuous improvement. I would love the opportunity to help the team and students by serving on the Site Council. Supporting equity and access for all Phoebe Dragons would be my top priority. In addition, expanding the technology program to provide more opportunities for students to connect and support to be provided for teachers is another priority that has risen in importance this year.

Rachid Abadli - My name is Rasheed, I am the parent of two boys attending Phoebe Hearst (1st grade and 6th grade).In challenging times like the current one, I am amazed by Phoebe Hearst's quality of education the school provides our children with, and as a School Site Council member I intend to leverage our success and expand it. In my personal pursuit for excellence, I successfully started a Software Engineering career that's thriving and still growing, recently obtained my MBA in finance with outstanding awards from Sacramento State University, and I am currently serving on the board of directors for a local non-profit working on enhancing kids' self-esteem through education. I believe that all kids deserve the best education money can buy, and also the best support the community can rally behind. If I am elected to the council, I intend to apply the same standard to support Phoebe Hearst's youth.

Erica Clayton - Hello! I’m a parent of 4th grader, Juniper, and kindergartener, Seraphina, and am always so grateful for our wonderful school and community. Thus far, I have enjoyed being involved in whatever way I can, and hope to continue being engaged in fostering ideas that support and benefit our students and faculty. I feel grateful for the robust education our kids are provided, and the work that’s done to create well rounded curriculum. I look forward to an opportunity to serve PHE, and all of our amazing dragons, and continuing in that tradition.

Charlie Colato - Hello, I am new to the PH Elementary community. My daughter is a new student to the school and I’d like to be part of her academic journey in some capacity. While I don’t have a background in academia, I do have a background in allocating resources in the public sector. I believe this experience would be valuable as a member of the school site council. My goal is quite simple: to ensure PH Elementary remains a premier elementary in the Sacramento region by supporting academic success through the thoughtful and deliberate investment of Student Achievement dollars.

David Mitchell - "Hello, My name is David Mitchell and I am a father of a second grader here at Phoebe Hearst. We are very pleased to be a part of the Phoebe Family. I’d like to become more involved by joining the Phoebe Hearst Site Council Site Council. I’d like to help support the academic goals of the school and various enrichment programs at Phoebe. I serve as leader and manager in the Department of Pharmacy Services at UC Davis Health and hope to draw on my years of leadership to help serve on the Site Council. I look forward to the possibility of getting further involved and striving to find ways to improve our school even more. "
