Clown Workshop with Ezequiel Olazar - June 16-18 2025Clowning isn’t just about being funny—it’s about presence, vulnerability, and learning to embrace the unknown.
This June, Argentinian clown and theatre educator Ezequiel Olazar is bringing his magical workshops back to Europe. With years of experience teaching and performing around the world, Ezequiel’s approach to clowning goes beyond performance—it’s a deep exploration of play, failure, emotions, and human connection.
This year’s theme is THE ART OF FAILURE. In clowning, failure isn’t something to avoid—it’s the doorway to truth, to connection, to joy. The clown embraces mistakes, steps into the unknown, and finds magic in getting it wrong. And isn’t that what life is? A constant dance between control and letting go, expectation and surprise?
Clowning isn’t just about laughter—it’s a deep practice of presence, vulnerability, and transformation. Through movement, rhythm, and raw presence, we explore emotions that are often hidden—shame, fear, hesitation, pleasure—and we bring them to light. We learn to hold them with humour, kindness, and curiosity. We play with our edges, with what makes us uncomfortable, until suddenly, failure isn’t failure anymore—it’s freedom.
The workshop is open for artists and professionals from a variety of fields—actors, magicians, dancers, clowns, and performers—whether they’re experienced or just starting, and those who have no experience in performance and theatre, but are very curious about clowning.
