Backfence Clubhouse Music User Agreement
The Backfence Society is a non-profit 501(c)(3) serving artists and fostering leadership in the arts and its connection with audiences in an equitable manner.

The industrious nature of creativity leads to positive change in our community and the Backfence Society advocates lifting one another up by embracing the connection we experience through art and its different forms.

The Backfence Society, Inc., established in 2011, started as an autonomous group of north county San Diego artists working collaboratively to produce interactive art events. The Backfence Society aims to provide an affordable and accessible platform for established and emerging artists. The Backfence Society established itself with intentions to foster relationships that mutually benefit the community and the artists living within.

The Clubhouse is an affordable and accessible space for artists and performers.

Using the Clubhouse - Treat this space as special as it is! Handle with care.

Please leave the space as you found it. (Open the curtains, turn off the lights, throw trash and recycling away, restock paper towels, etc)

Make sure that when you leave and you lock the door you shake the handle to make sure it is locked! If you do not lock the door, you will not be allowed back.

Amplified music is allowed inside ONLY. Please feel free to be loud and enjoy yourself!

Rehearsal space is limited to band members rehearsing and two guests only.

Recording encouraged. Please share your rehearsing on social media and tag us @backfencesociety. If you are interested in live streaming please text Chad 760-315-4120.

In order to minimize the risk of Covid 19, all musicians not using vocals must wear a mask at all times inside the space. Vocalists are strongly encouraged to wear a mask.

All musicians using the space do so at their own risk. Each member of musical group must submit this form.

If any damages to the space occur during its use, musicians will be held responsible financially. Failure to take responsibility will terminate use of the space in the future.

Backfence runs on donations. We keep this space approachable and affordable for artists through donations and volunteerism. Please donate what you can to keep the lights on in the space, insurance and rent paid. (venmo.com/backfencesociety).
