Color Wheel Connections: Smiling at Diversity: This socially-minded arts program includes a wide variety of studio projects and concepts in visual art. Lessons in drawing, color theory, bookmaking and collage will prepare students with illustration tactics that are the tools for telling their own stories. Conversations leading up to our studio projects will encourage students to recognize who they are in the context of a world filled with diversity.

This after-school VIRTUAL program is supported by Springboard to Learning and McKinley Middle School PTO. Students must register and pay $35 to the PTO by October 14th (NEW DEADLINE) in order to be considered. We can take up to ~20 students, on a first-come basis, and must have a minimum of 17 in order to run the program. This is designed for 6th-8th grade students. If you would like to be considered for a scholarship, please mark below.

***STUDENTS WILL GET THEIR OWN ART SUPPLY KIT TO KEEP!*** They'll also finish the program with their own children's book or other story to publish!
