About the Role - We at YVLC are looking for independent and highly experienced lawyers with an entrepreneurial drive to join our incredibly talented and driven team as a partner. The partner, will have the title of Virtual Legal Counsel Partner at YVLC. The VLC Partner will be required to help expand YVLC’s client base by managing a particular tech niche and developing relationships with clients from the said tech space. The VLC Partner will, in consultation with the YVLC team also develop a strategic client engagement plan, to both land new clients as well as maintain existing clients. The client engagement plan will constantly be updated.
Roles and Responsibilities - (i) Develop a client engagement plan for YVLC in consultation with the YVLC Partners, (ii) Revisit the client engagement plan from time to time basis traction we are getting and any direct feedback we receive, (iii) Develop and post content from our social media handles specific to client engagement and client retention, (iv) Track the outbound leads we are doing (in accordance with the client outreach list) and prepare a monthly report for the YVLC Partners to review; and (v) Reach out to potential clients/partners on social media under instructions from the YVLC partners.
Years of Experience - You must have subject matter expertise in either of the following tech spaces and experience as an in-house counsel. (i) Foodtech (ii) Fintech (iii) Edtech (iv) Adtech/Martech (v) E-commerce (vi) Blockchain (vii) Healthtech (viii) Agritech (ix) Cleantech (x) Legaltech. While 5-9 years of experience at an in-house counsel role and past client facing, legal consulting roles would be preferred, we are open to also hiring someone with no specific technology experience, so long as we deem them to be a good fit with YVLC’s culture and if they exhibit a good understanding of YVLC’s Business Model, Mission and Vision.
