I, Jennifer Marchand, am an EMDRIA certified EMDR practitioner, Approved Consultant and Basic Trainer as well as a Registered Canadian Art Therapist, IFS Level 2 trained therapist and trauma sensitive practitioner (TCTSY). 

I provide guidance in how to effectively integrate EMDR into your practice, including utilizing the standard
protocol with various populations, such as survivors of 
sexual violence, complex and interpersonal trauma and intergenerational trauma, and how to integrate somatic, creative and nature-based approaches into EMDR to meet the needs of clients.

I will recognize my limits of competency and,
when appropriate, will refer my consultees to another consultant who is more familiar with the client
population for which the consultee is providing services.

I write endorsement letters based on formal documentation of work with clients, such as in depth case presentations, video or audio recordings, or verbatim transcripts. I require 5 hours minimum of consultation to write an endorsement letter (group or individual). If no formal documentation is presented and/or consultation is under 5 hours, I will provide you with a letter to document consultation hours and an evaluative statement based on our work together.

If I have concerns about a consultee’s readiness for certification, I hold the responsibility of
communicating such concerns early in the consultation process so appropriate corrective measures
can be taken.

I will document and track our session time, and am required to retain documentation of our
sessions together for a 5-year period after our work concludes.
