Team Chess tournaments are a great way for School Chess Clubs or individuals to get started in Chess Tournaments. All our Tournaments and other activities/events are open to all youth through 12th grade. This includes students who are homeschooled or in public, private, or parochial schools from any part of the USA.

CMSCA's Free Unrated Second Team Chess Tournament

- Free Registration for all Participants with or without a Team including students who are homeschooled or in public, charter, private, or parochial schools.
- Individual players welcomed! Please pre-register online and arrive by 9:00am.
- USCF Membership ID is not required (optional).
- We will close online registration on the night before the tournament.
- Please bring chess equipment and clock. Don't own one? Don't worry, we will be selling discounted chess equipment onsite. Buy some for yourself or your Chess Club!
- Tournament is typically over between 1:00pm and 2:00pm.
- Established Chess Teams Only - $90.00 annual team fee to be paid by School Club Chess Team Sponsor. If you have already paid the annual fee, there is no additional fee to participate in this tournament.
