2024 Pittsburgh Polar Plunge Survey

Thank you for being part of the Special Olympics community! On February 23rd & 24th, we came together as a region, a city, and a team to change the lives of 4,000 Special Olympics athletes in the Three Rivers Region.

On Friday, we were treated to sun and warmth as we watched nearly 2,000 students from 50 schools around the region take the plunge; followed by over 300 corporate partners from Greater Pittsburgh! On Saturday, we were treated to slightly cooler temperatures that included some snow. When the plunge was finished, more than 4,000 people plunged into the pools at Acrisure Stadium supporting inclusion and supporting this community.

The 2024 Pittsburgh Plunge raised more than $1.08 MILLION! We shattered all-time fundraising records, and we did that together. Because of you, 4,000 athletes will compete in their choice of sports, free of charge. What a remarkable weekend!
