Junior Coach Application

Thank you for your interest in being a FAST Junior Coach. This is a volunteer position.

Not only do we believe our volunteer coaches are instrumental in helping our younger swimmers become better swimmers, but most importantly our volunteer coaches are role models and the future leaders of our team. As a volunteer coach, we will gladly provide you with a letter of your hours volunteered for any organization that you need such as NHS, scouts, etc.

To be a FAST Junior Coach, there are a few requirements.

  1. You must be at least 14 years of age (as of 5/1/25) and in high school. If you are currently in the 8th grade, you are not eligible to coach yet but we look forward to you applying next year.
  2. You must have actively participated in the swim season and swum in at least 2 meets last season. If you are over 18 as of May 1st, this requirement is waived.
  3. You must sign the “Coach Code of Conduct” policy and abide by it throughout the season.
  4. You must plan on swimming in all meets this season unless the head coach and board are notified in advance.

All Junior Coaches will be selected by the head and assistant coach as well as the board. We will notify you as soon as the selections are made.
