Join the Advancing Health Literacy Coalition!

We all deserve access to information and services that support our well-being. The Advancing Health Literacy (AHL) Program's goal is to partner with the community to develop strategies that increase health literacy. Together we can address disparities that are seen in underserved communities. We want to form community driven partnerships to inform San Diego County COVID-19 health literacy programs, policies, and systems.

Please fill out this form to indicate your organization's interest in joining the AHL program's future events and opportunities as part of our program's coalition.  

Involvement in the coalition offers the following opportunities:
- The opportunity to represent your community’s needs by participating in regional and population focused community forums
- Educational and capacity building seminars focused on health literacy, COVID-19, inequities, and more
- Technical assistance to expand the impact increased health literacy can have within your organization and your community
- The opportunity to inform policy and systems change in San Diego County
- Eligibility to apply for grant funding
- Compensation for participating in aspects of data collection
