Please plan to spend an hour to an hour and a half at the tryouts. There will be a station for each instrument to try and an adult who is an expert on that instrument helping your child try the instrument in the easiest and best manner possible. In order to do this, it will take some time to visit all the tryout stations, but it's SO MUCH FUN!

Our HIGHEST priority is the safety of our band families and staff! Here are the procedures we will be requiring to assure that:

-Parents will sign up for individual times. Families will remain in vehicles until their assigned time. Check-in will occur at the start of your fitting. This will help keep the number of people in the cafeteria small throughout the day so there are no large groups.

- Families will be instructed to immediately leave campus after testing is completed.

- Strict timing for each station will be adhered to which will allow for a consistent flow of families through the instrument fitting and proper social distancing.

- Each student will play on a set of mouthpieces that have been sanitized & disinfected completely before use. No sharing will occur.

- Masks are highly encouraged for everyone (excluding students while they are trying out instruments).

- Hand sanitizer will be readily available at every station.

- A maximum of 1 adult can be present with the student. No children other than students will be allowed at the fittings (unless it can't be helped). :)

- Teachers/testers will all be required to wear a mask. Masks will be removed ONLY during the demonstration period for each instrument and will promptly be reapplied.

- Teachers/testers will be required to wear a new set of gloves with each student that tries out an instrument. Gloves will be available for any parent or student who wishes to use them.

Please, please, please make sure that you are on time for your selected slot! This is CRUCIAL for the safety of our band families and staff.
