THE CITIZENS’ TREATY TO PROHIBIT NUCLEAR WEAPONS
We, the citizens of the world, have seen the damage done to the world with the use of nuclear weapons. We are worried about the constant wars being waged. We are determined to enforce this as worldwide law.
The Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (2021) makes nuclear weapons illegal. We ask our governments to ensure these prohibitions:
(a) Anyone found in possession of nuclear weapons will be urged to dismantle them immediately;
(b) Use or threatening to use is forbidden;
(c) Testing in your own or other people’s land is prohibited.
We ask our governments which are states-parties to declare:
(a) Whether it makes, tests, owns or saves any nuclear weapons or other nuclear explosive devices.
(b) Whether there are any nuclear weapons on its territory belonging to any other state

Of the 193 members of the United Nations, only 86 signed the Treaty and only 55 have ratified and become states parties. These do not include countries that possess nuclear weapons. We, the citizens of the world, urge our governments to sign and ratify the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons without delay.

Save our world from the dangers of nuclear war!
