In order to volunteer as camp sponsor or an adult helper for summer camp, you must first complete a Child Protective Training course. This is a state law requirement for every adult wanting to have contact with minors at camp, and the adult must be able to present a certificate of completion before the start of camp.
You must receive at least a 70% to pass the test. Once you pass the test, you need to fill out a certificate of completion and have it signed by your camp director.
