AMD-Midwest: Intro to Linux and Bioinformatics
This is a week long course that covers the basics of working within Linux and performing some simple sequencing analyses.

Length: 2hr sessions Monday, Wednesday and Friday; Office hours on Tuesday and Thursday

What you need:
You will need access to a computer that has high speed internet access. For this class a virtual instance will be created on the Amazon cloud specifically for you to use. Working within this instance you will learn how to interact with the Linux environment and run bioinformatic pipelines to analyze some sequencing data.
