In partnership with the Police, Leicester City Council Licensing and Leicester City Watch, BID Leicester launched the Best Bar None scheme in Leicester in 2023, with 47 venues gaining accreditation in total.
We are now reopening applications for the BBN scheme, which will culminate with the awards evening in November. Businesses can now apply for their accreditation using the form below to arrange your initial meeting and start your application.
How does Best Bar None work?1. Initial meetingThis initial meeting will give clear instructions about completing the assessment and will be an opportunity for the venue to ask any questions. During this initial meeting you will be given a BBN assessment pack, which will include a full guide to completing the assessment.
2. Full AssessmentThe assessment and full inspection meeting will be completed face-to-face and should take no more than two hours.
3. Awards eveningVenues will be invited to the Best Bar None awards event on 9 November at The City Rooms. Premises which have achieved accreditation status will be presented with a Best Bar None recognition plaque. Tickets for the awards evening will be available later in the year.
