Update: There are 2 spots left for Junior Lifeguard Club (Advanced swimmers) in Sets 5 and 6 - pre-register now! Beginner lessons at Tie Lake during Sets 1, 2 and 3 are now full, as well as Beginner and Intermediate lessons at Waldo Cove during Sets 5, 6 and 7. Set 4 (Tie Lake) and Set 8 (Waldo Cove) will not be scheduled yet as they will be kept aside for makeup lessons (usually caused by thunderstorms). If these sets become available, the waitlist will be contacted the week beforehand to see if you’re still available and wanting to book, so feel free to pre-register just in case a spot opens up.
Please complete the below pre-registration form if you would like to participate in private/semi-private swim lessons for beginners or beginner/intermediates for the upcoming Summer outdoor lesson set. Lessons run 4 days a week for each set; at Tie Lake for the month of July, with limited options also available at Waldo Cove in August.
Recommended for swimmers 4 years+ but if you have a 3 year old who is comfortable in the water and with other adults, and you feel they would do well in the cooler temperatures and changing environment of the lake, you are still welcome to pre-register. Beginner to beginner/intermediates are any Preschool level and Lifesaving Society - Swimmer 1-4 (or Red Cross - Swim Kids 1-5, or Dolphins - Junior Pups).
If you have siblings to register for Intermediate classes or Advanced Junior Lifeguard program too, please head to the Intermediate/Advanced pre-registration form as well - your first time stamp will be used on both forms.

- If you have more than 2 swimmers, or your swimmers have different availabilities or abilities, please fill out a second form (either this one, or the intermediate/advanced form).
- *NEW* If you would like to match your swimmer with a friend/cousin of similar age/ability, you may now select one parent/guardian to pre-register on behalf of both swimmers, or you can still pre-register separately and the first time stamp will be honored. Then if you get a spot, each parent/guardian will complete enrollment and payment separately.
What's Next:
- After you complete this pre-registration form, it will be added into my tetris-game-of-color-coded-excel-spreadsheets to match swimmers of similar ability, age and availability together, while also aiming for back-to-back siblings, and prioritizing neurodivergent swimmers, swimmers with disabilities and high-risk swimmers as best as possible too.
- You will receive an email either offering you a lesson time, or letting you know you missed out this set (check your spam folder too) towards the end of the weekend.
- If you are offered a lesson time, you will receive a link to our Jackrabbit Swim booking site, where you can complete your family registration (or log in if already have an account), enroll into your lesson time, complete waivers/policies and send payment (via e-transfer). This must be completed within 24 hours to secure your lesson time please, though if you need more time for payment, please discuss this with me.
