Decision Point 1: Life is Choices
When a teen misses a session of High School Faith Formation (Confirmation), the Concord Carlisle Catholic Collaborative expects that teen to view the video(s) missed and complete this simple online form.

The videos for this session are found Dynamic Catholic's website, or you may download the app (for free), which has all the videos.

Session 1 is titled "Life Is Choices". Watching all the videos will take about 35 minutes, and answering the questions may take 15 minutes. Keep in mind that the quality of your response will help Tony and his Faith Formation Leaders determine if you actually viewed the videos (which we think are quite good)!

Overview - Confirmation Preparation
Confirmation IS NOT a type of graduation. While an important point in your journey of faith, it is not an end, and may be for some, the beginning.

Decision Point is meant to inform you about life and faith, to inform your journey of faith, in particular your preparation to receive God's grace in the sacrament of Confirmation.
Your Choices Matter
Who do you know who is a great decision maker? What makes this person a great decision maker?
*
Describe a time when you ignored your conscience and regretted it later. Describe a time when you listened to your conscience and followed it, even though it was difficult. *
Are you good at making decisions? On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the best), how good do you think you are at making decisions? What’s one practical thing you could do to become a better decision maker? *
The Best Way to Live
In some ways the best way to live is the same for us all. Which of the three principles had the most impact on you (the-best-version-of-yourself, virtue, or self-control)?
How would your relationships improve if you started to really live these three principles?
If at the end of your life you could be remembered for just one virtue, which would you choose? Why is that virtue important to you?
God's Dream For You
Have you ever met someone and discovered that person was nothing like what you thought he or she would be like?
Who in your life is helping you become the-best-version-of-yourself?
What are two things you can do to become a-better-version-of-yourself this week?
Be a Rebel
What is enslaving you?
When was the last time you watched something on TV that helped you become a-better-version-of-yourself?
In what ways do you feel called to rebel against today’s culture?
How is the path God is calling you along different and better than the culture’s way of doing things?
Decision Point
Do you want to live life to the fullest? Why or why not?
Are you going to choose God's incredible vision for your life or the world's empty vision for your life?
What is one message from this session that you could share with someone else?
Closing Prayer
In the participant workbook, there is a version of Psalm 1 on page 26. Read this slowly and prayerfully, and then use your own words to respond to God.
