The Enrichment Resource Center at WSWHE BOCES is happy to announce this year's 44th Annual Regional Spelling Bee will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 7:00 pm at the WSWHE BOCES Conference Center on Ballard Road in Wilton, NY.
The Regional Spelling Bee is open to students in grades 4-8. Students may enter the spelling bee provided they have not reached the age of 16 by June 1, 2024 and have not entered 9th grade. All students entered will compete using the same words.
The winner will receive an engraved plaque for their school to display for a year. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers of the spelling bee will receive a trophy, certificate and ribbon. Those placing 4th - 6th will receive certificates and ribbons. All participants will receive a t-shirt.
Once you have a winner of your school’s local bee, please send the link for the registration form to the parents for them to fill out and submit digitally. All registration forms should be submitted digitally this year.
The deadline to enter is Tuesday, May 21.
