We would love you to join us for two day adventure and an end of year celebration on Rangitoto and Motutapu Islands.
All are welcome. Seniors, Juniors & Kids.
We anticipate that most people will travel to Rangitoto on Saturday 19 December. We will have use of the accommodation at MOEC from Friday 18 December 4:00PM - Sunday 20 December 6:00PM.

We have 45 beds booked at the Motutapu Outdoor Education Camp (MOEC) for December 18 - 20. Accommodation at MOEC is 2-6 person bunk rooms in the MOEC Cottage and Lodge.

Accommodation Cost *
We will have use of the accommodation at Motutapu Outdoor Education Camp from Friday 4:00PM - Sunday 6:00PM. The accommodation cost is $80.00 per person and this is the same whether you stay one or both nights. (This cost assumes that we can fill the camp and may need to be adjusted if we have less than 45 people attending). Once you have committed and paid, this is non-refundable.

Getting to Rangitoto / Motutapu *
Transport to Rangitoto/Motutapu can be booked via Fullers and the cost of this will be additional to the accommodation cost detailed above. Ferry timetable can be viewed here https://www.fullers.co.nz/buy-tickets/pick-tickets/?from=AUCK&to=RANG. You are welcome to arrive and depart when you would like to. We anticipate that most people will travel to Rangitoto Island on Saturday 19 December at 9:15AM. MOEC will provide a trailer to transport gear from Rangitoto Wharf - MOEC. This service will ONLY be available for the Saturday 19 December 9:15AM Ferry. This transport is reserved for gear [unless it is absolutely necessary to carry one or two humans).

Gear Transport Rangitoto Wharf - Motutapu Outdoor Education Camp *
MOEC will provide a trailer to transport gear from Rangitoto Wharf - MOEC. This service will ONLY be available for the Saturday 19 December 9:15AM Ferry. This transport is reserved for gear [unless it is absolutely necessary to carry one or two humans).

Distance from Rangitoto Wharf to MOEC *
The shortest distance between Rangitoto Wharf and MOEC is 8km, which will need to be travelled on foot. The maximum distance is up to your interpretation.

Food & Personal Supplies *
All food and personal supplies will be your responsibility. The Cottage and Lodge at the MOEC have full kitchens for you to make use of. There are no shops on either island so please be sure to bring everything you expect to need for the weekend. At the end of the weekend, it will also be your responsibility to return to the mainland with all of waste.

Other Information *
MOEC are expecting a Religious Focus Group to be staying in the Main Camp. The Main Camp is in a different area to where we will be staying, though MOEC have asked us to agree to observe some conditions around attire, alcohol and noise in public areas of the camp. What we do in the Lodge & Cottage are our business.
