Stanley Songs for the Soul: songwriting workshops
On Thursday 16th September Citizen Songwriters CIC will be running Songs for the Soul at PACT House. The workshops will take place every Thursday from 1-3pm for 12 weeks at PACT House on Stanley Front Street.

This project has been funded and supported by the Stanley Community Fund through County Durham Community Foundation (CDCF). The aim of this project is to support people with mental health in the wake of the pandemic and to create a space to write songs that express our stories, emotions and lives.

We have a budget provided for Mobile Data, in the event of self isolation and help with transport costs. Email alex@citizensongwriters.org if you need more information or would like to access help from these budgets.

We request that if you show any symptoms of Coronavirus during the project then you should stay home and join us via Zoom instead.

At the end of this project everyone involved will be invited to record their songs with a professional producer and to perform on our local DH9 Radio!
