Voice Transition Coaching 2024

Little Petal Alliance and Mantra Voice have partnered to offer free gender affirming voice coaching groups for trans*, non-binary, and gender diverse people who would not otherwise be able to access voice training. For the first quarter of 2024, our groups will be held Tuesday at 5pm CST and Thursday at 10am CST, and are welcome to people of all genders. Our groups prioritize Black and Indigenous folks, people who have experienced homelessness, and sex workers of color.

You will be best served in our free voice transition coaching groups if you join with your camera and microphone on and participate in voice activities. Specialized groups will be made available for Black and Indigenous people who have experienced homelessness, and FSSW of color to help reduce the inherent dangers of utilizing the camera function to create a safer, more productive space. If you’re not able to participate actively in the groups, please reach out to Mantra Voice for pricing for one-on-one voice coaching.

I grant permission for Mantra Voice to communicate with me via an unencrypted email service. I agree to keep confidential any personal information that is shared in the group. I understand that participants in the voice training group will have access to any personal information I share with them. I understand that Mantra Voice and Little Petal Alliance will share personal information shared in this survey for coordinating the groups. Personal information will not be shared with third parties by Little Petal Alliance or Mantra Voice. Sharing photos, videos, sound clips, and/or written word of anyone in the group other than myself is not permitted without consent from that person and Mantra Voice. I understand that non-participants may overhear personal information if participants join the group with non-participants present.

I understand that Mantra Voice may record group sessions, such as for educational and training purposes. My consent is needed for any publication I may appear in. I acknowledge that I will receive no financial compensation for providing my consent for group recordings to be used. I understand that my consent and release is voluntary and optional. I hereby release Mantra Voice, Little Petal Alliance, their contractors, their employees, and and/or any third parties involved in the creation or publication from any and all liability that may arise in connection with the expressed and implied use of all photographs, videos, or audio recordings outlined in this form.

I authorize Mantra Voice to render group voice coaching services provided by a voice coach. I agree not to share any materials from Mantra Voice with others not participating in the group without permission from Mantra Voice. I recognize, agree, and understand that I have the right to refuse voice training services and both I and Mantra Voice may terminate Services at any time and for any reason. I agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Mantra Voice, Little Petal Alliance, their subsidiaries, affiliates, and their officers, managers, employees, agents, attorneys, representatives or assigns from any claims, liability, damages, losses, harm, costs and expenses, including legal fees and expenses or any other detriment incurred by Mantra Voice in any claims arising out of this Agreement, My use of the Services, My breach of this Agreement, including breach of My representations and warranties set forth herein, or if any of Mantra Voice’s Intellectual Property that I post or publish while using the Services causes Mantra Voice to be liable to a third party.

Voice coaching is not medical care or advice, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or psychological condition, disease or vocal pathology. I agree to provide Mantra Voice with information about any known medical issues or other information about My physical health that may restrict me from participating in or interfere with voice coaching. I agree that it is my responsibility to provide Mantra Voice with information that is accurate, up-to-date, and inclusive of all known medical issues, and to keep Mantra Voice apprised of any changes. I understand that I cannot hold Little Petal Alliance nor Mantra Voice liable for any perceived harm related to the voice groups. I am participating in this vocal training program, which is free to me, of my own accord.
