Are you interested or nominating someone to speak at the Metaverse Women's Entrepreneurship Day Summit (11/18/2023)?

This year our agenda will focus on highlighting the pivotal role women play in the impact of disruptive technologies like Web3, Metaverse, Blockchain, NFT, and Crypto. Of course, we will hold our summit in the Metaverse!

We'd ask for a 20-minute video recording of your presentation. Then, on the day of the summit, you'll join the event to engage with the audience. You are welcome to stay throughout the summit but it's ok to only join for your segment.

If you answered 'yes' to any of these questions or know someone who fits this description, then you should apply to be a speaker or nominate your friend to be a speaker! Please tell us about yourself or the candidate you nominated by filling out the questionnaire below.

  • Women perform 66% of the world’s work, yet they only earn 10% of the world’s income.
  • At the same time, women account for 85% of consumer purchases and control $20 trillion in worldwide spending.
  • Furthermore, only 5% of the multibillion-dollar Web3 Industry’s turnover belongs to women.
  • Less than 5% of crypto entrepreneurs are women, and only 16% of NFT artists are women.

Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Organization (WEDO) is a movement that operates throughout the year to change these alarming statistics and support women in business globally. We ignite women leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs to initiate startups, drive economic expansion, and advance communities worldwide. We are celebrated in 144 countries and 110 universities and colleges as well as celebrated at the United Nations. Our mission is to empower the 4 billion women across the globe to be catalysts of change and uplift the 250 million girls living in poverty globally.
