YOUR PROMOTION: Start promoting the idea to your community contacts and in your local newsletters as soon as you are organised enough. The message could be... we hope our community energy groups will all make it to Sydney for the Community Energy Congress as part of the Smart Energy Expo, but if you can't make the journey, please join us in xxx to celebrate our local community energy icons and participate in the Congress. The Victorian Government is sponsoring the online component of the Congress so please acknowledge them and the Coalition for Community Energy in your comms.

C4CE MEMBERS: Please encourage all your community energy groups to make sure they are C4CE members and registered with us. They can sign up again to make sure we have correct and up to date details.

COMMUNITY ENERGY NEWS: Please also encourage everyone to ensure they are receiving our eNews (sign up here). We are committed to running a full schedule of interesting capacity building events and online webinars this year to really support the community energy sector (and would welcome any help and ideas you have but after March please).

SHOWCASE YOUR INITIATIVES: We are collecting stories for our community energy showcase to be published at the Congress and promoted throughout the year. Please encourage all your groups to give us some short information here if they haven't done so already.

LOCAL FACILITATION: We will find a time to brief you in advance about the "creating a community renewable vision" session at 2pm. Hosting this conversation is an important way of helping all your attendees connect and think about the success factors for renewable transformation.
