About
The private lesson program in the Hebron Band Cluster is a vital part of the students’ music education.  The one-on-one learning environment is the optimum educational setting.  ALL students are encouraged to take advantage of this enrichment opportunity.

The Hebron Band Boosters offer scholarships to those students of families that can demonstrate true financial need.  There is a LIMITED amount of scholarship money available each year.  The band directors at each campus will award scholarships based on the following criteria:

Students interested in financial assistance MUST complete this application to be considered.

Students who are awarded scholarship money toward lessons agree to abide by all private lesson policies and guidelines outlined in the band handbook regarding attendance, preparation, etc.

Parents of students who receive financial assistance are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED, and should be willing, to join the Hebron Band Booster Club (a one time fee of $10 – all of which goes into the general lesson scholarship fund to be used in this and other scholarship programs).

At the discretion of the director(s), the amount of scholarship funds may be increased based on evidential improvement, work ethic of the student, or other circumstances.  In addition, at the discretion of the director(s), the amount of scholarship funds may decrease for lack of lesson attendance, preparation, practice, and evidential work ethic.  Either case will come with clear and timely notice of no less than one month.

IMPORTANT
Students who receive financial assistance for lessons for 9 weeks or more of a school year are hereby committing to their enrollment, participation, and membership in good standing in the band program for the ENTIRETY of the current school year.  Students who receive financial assistance for lessons for 18 weeks, or more of a school year are herby committing to their enrollment, participation, and membership in good standing in the band program for the ENTIRETY of the current school year AND for the ENTIRETY of the following school year.  If a student who has received financial assistance for lessons decides to drop out of the Band program, parents are asked to make a donation to the general lesson scholarship fund in an amount no less than 40% of the accumulated scholarship award for the current school year.  This scholarship award is an investment the band program is making in YOU (your child) and the potential of your (your child’s) future contribution to the success of the overall program.

If you have any further questions regarding this scholarship program, or for details on how to make a contribution to the scholarship fund, please contact the director of bands at your child’s campus.
