Virtual Speed FriendingCome hang out, meet fellow LGBTQ+ South Asian Women & Gender Marginalized folks, and make a new friend or five. And don't worry about breaking the ice.. we have plenty of fun conversation prompts in store!
This event is open to all LGBTQ+ South Asian, Indo-Caribbean, and Indo-African diaspora. The zoom link will be sent out prior to the event -- please check your email an hour before the start time. Be sure to check your junk mail. We will begin promptly at 9PM EST and will conclude at 11PM EST. Please plan to arrive on time, as the workshop will begin promptly.
All we ask is that you please help us foster a safer and comfortable space by:
- Being respectful & inclusive. This is a judgment-free zone;
- Respecting the privacy and confidentiality of everyone in this group, and do not "out" anyone. Please refrain from taking screenshots during the session. Please refrain from externally sharing the identities/names of attendees;
- Communicating with kindness. Hate speech or bullying of any kind will not be tolerated;
- Asking questions instead of making presumptions.
