For good and valuable consideration, receipt of which I hereby acknowledge, I grant , Arizona State University, Amazon Alexa Fund, and their affiliates, subsidiaries, assigns, licensees, and designees, (collectively “Representatives”), the irrevocable right to use my name, picture, likeness and/or photograph, and biographical information (collectively the “Materials”) in all forms and media now known or hereafter developed, and in all manners, including composite or distorted representations, for advertising, marketing, trade, editorial, and any other purposes whatsoever. I waive any right to inspect or approve any uses that may be created in connection therewith, or the use to which the Materials may be applied. I agree that the Materials, the negatives, and other originals thereof shall constitute the sponsor's sole property, with full right of disposition in any manner whatsoever. I hereby release, discharge, and agree to hold harmless the Representatives and all persons acting under its permission or authority, from any and all claims whatsoever in connection with the use of the Materials. Moreover, by submitting an application to this challenge, each applicant agrees to the following conditions: It is the applicant’s responsibility to protect any highly confidential or trade secret information. The legal protection of the concepts submitted by the applicants to the competition is otherwise the sole responsibility of the applicants. All decisions made by the Representatives and judges on all matters relating to this challenge will be final and not open to appeal or negotiation.The Representatives reserve the right to interpret these rules, and to alter, amend or change them, at its discretion. In consideration for the time, expertise and other resources of the Representatives, each applicant voluntarily releases each Representative from any liabilities, responsibilities, and accountabilities relating to or arising out of such Representative’s participation in the challenge.
