Thank you for agreeing to take part in this important survey to provide feedback on the TxHub Metadata Guidelines. The information gathered from this survey will be used to make sure these guidelines best serve the Texas institutions that want to have their digital collections aggregated into the TxHub and harvested into DPLA.

Background: A library cooperation grant was awarded to develop a Texas service hub (TxHub) for Digital Public Library of America (DPLA) in an effort to create a “metadata aggregation service to showcase the digital collections of Texas and ensure their discoverability in DPLA.” As a component of the grant, a metadata working group convened and has been drafting the metadata guidelines for the project. These guidelines will provide guidance for preparing digital collections for TxHub/DPLA aggregation resulting in an increase in accessible Texas digital materials made available to a wider audience.
