Dear parent/carer,

Western Community Primary School Nursery comprises of a 52 place nursery (26 am and 26 pm). Admissions to the Nursery class are managed by Mrs Larty (Senior Leader for Early Years.) Pupils are eligible to attend Nursery in September, once they have reached the age of 3 years old. In order to be considered for a place, parents/carers must apply directly to the school using this application form.

When spaces allow we are sometimes able to offer places to children throughout the course of the year. The start date will be after the child’s 3rd birthday. A start date will be made as soon as possible after this date for children who are on our waiting list.

The school has a waiting list that parents/carers can register their children on in advance of admission, although it is stressed that putting a name on the waiting list does not guarantee the offer of  a place in school. When the school has received a completed Nursery Admission form, places will be allocated. Parents will be asked to confirm that they are accepting the place and will receive an invitation to a new starters meeting, where they will receive an admission pack, detailing start dates and other relevant information.
