The Winlock School District is sharing with our community the comprehensive sexual health education curriculum before it is offered in the 2021-22 school year. The state of Washington requires that schools must begin providing comprehensive sexual health education starting in the 2021-22 school year, beginning in middle school and continuing every two years. The WSD has selected curriculum beginning with grades 6th, 8th, 10th and 12th to meet this requirement. This curriculum will have an opt out option if you do not wish to have your child(ren) participate. All parents/guardians will be notified when the curriculum will be administered at the beginning of the school year. Once requested, the WSD will email you a copy to view at this time.
