The Mark J. Fitzsimmons Memorial Scholarship Fund is a nonprofit organization created in memory of Greater New Bedford Regional Voc-Tech High School student-athlete and Varsity Boys Lacrosse coach Mark J. “Fitzy” Fitzsimmons.

Our goal is to award a $1,000 scholarship to two graduating Voc-Tech senior varsity athletes to assist them in their post-secondary or vocational aspirations. Whether students are attending a two- or four-year institution or continuing their trade, this scholarship can be used to subsidize costs associated with tuition, books, tools, and professional licensing.
