2024 June PRIDE Month Shows
We are excited to announce that Station Theater will host a series of PRIDE shows during the month of June.  All of our Saturday shows will feature LGBTQIA+ students, performers, and guests. We are opening submissions for to performers & writers who are interested in participating in the following shows. 

Allies may submit for shows, but our priority is casting queer performers. 

Performers may participate in more than one show. Specialty Shows will be cast by the individual producers. We will provide them with your availability and contact information. 

8:00 PM SHOWS 
SUPERNOVA - STORYTELLING + IMPROV: Each Saturday will feature Station's signature form with an  LGBTQIA+ cast and guests. Performers should be proficient in crafting and receiving premise initiations, patterns, and game. This cast will rehearse weekly on Thursdays 6-8 pm, from April 25 to May 30. Additional rehearsals may be called during the show season on Thursdays 8-10, if needed. Coached by Jessica Brown and others.

SATURDAY, JUNE 1
  • STAND UP SHOWCASE:  Produced & hosted by Arron Michaels.

SATURDAY, JUNE 8 OR 22
These shows are still TBA based on specific performer availablity. 
  • DRAG SHOW: We are looking to partner with a drag performer for the Supernova show this same evening. That performer will be given the opportunity to produce a show during the 9:30 pm spot, such as Drag Bingo or a Drag Show. We are currently reaching out to local performers for this show. 
  • QUEER VARIETY SHOW (NAME TBA): Produced by Meredith Nudo. This show has opportunities for segment submissions & individual performers. This may include sketches,  short form improv, long form improv, storytelling, stand up, music, gameshows, and more! Do you have an idea? Submit it! 

SATURDAY, JUNE 15
  • STILL SINGLE: A panel of improvisers discuss what it’s really like out there in the dating world, while they judge if we’re to blame for being… STILL SINGLE. Produced by Elizabeth McCall (Simonsen). Opportunities for up to 4 panelists.
  • PROTOSTAR: An all-student improv troupe comprised of LGBTQIA+ performers. Performers should be in Levels 1-5 of Station Theater's training program or have graduated within the past 6 months. Depending on the level of response, we may form two teams. Coached by Jessica Brown. This troupe will rehearse one time on Tuesday, June 11. Coached by Jessica Brown.

SATURDAY, JUNE 29
  • LESBI-HONEST - A SKETCH SHOW: A WLW sketch show produced by Elizabeth McCall (Simonsen). This show has opportunities for sketch writers and/or submissions and performers. Do you have an idea for a WLW sketch? Submit it! 

SATURDAY, JUNE 8 OR 22
