  1. The pros and cons to being classified as a qualified agency.
  2. Can a non-industry member be a qualified agency?

This discussion will be led by Mike DiGiorgio of Silverback Consulting and propaneandoiltraining.com and featuring John McCoy, nationally known attorney for propane retailers and a partner at McCoy, Leavitt, Laskey LLC.

NFPA 54 Section 3.3.8.2 defines a "qualified agency" as: Any individual, firm, corporation or company that either in person or through a representative is engaged in and is responsible for (1) the installation, testing, replacement or design of gas piping or (2) the connection, installation, testing, repair or servicing of appliances or equipment; that is experienced in such work; that is familiar with all the precautions required; and that has complied with all of the requirements of the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ).

Propane marketers can be a qualified agency as defined in NFPA 54 for some or all of the listed duties under this section of the code.

Late registrations, Outlook invites, URL, billing

REQUIRED - We will send you an outlook invite as soon as we see your registration, however, the URL for the session will be updated in the Outlook invite, typically a day before a session begins.   If you accept the invite, the event should appear in your calendar and the updated URL for the event should be automatically updated in your calendar entry as well.  Again, we typically update the invite with the URL the day before the session.

If by chance you are registering on the day of the actual session and before the session has begun, chances are good that we will not see it and will not be able to send the URL to you.   If you are late registering can try emailing us at info@propaneandoiltraining.com or call Shane's cell at 802-558-6101.   It's likely we may not see registrations filed on that day, and we have to send the URL and-or add your email to the invite.  If you register after the session has already begun, chances are good that we will not see it and will not be able to send the URL to you.

For those not participating for free thanks to underwriting by others, we will invoice you by email for the individual rate or company rate described herein for the live participants.  Edited recordings of the session are available any live registrant or those whose attendances have been underwritten.
