Iris: Art and Literary Journal Executive Board Application 2020
Position Descriptions:

Poetry Editor: Read, edit, and provide feedback on poetry submissions. We need someone with a passion for poetry to contribute educated opinions on our poetry submissions.

Photography Editor: Select and edit photography submissions (as needed) and help coordinate photographs for Iris promotional materials. A formal background in photography is a plus, but not required.

Visual Arts Editor: Select and edit visual art submissions (as needed) and help coordinate visual designs for Iris promotional materials. A portfolio of personal work is a plus, but not required. Visual art includes but is not restricted to painting, sculpting, and sketching.

Event Coordinator: Brainstorm ideas and coordinate logistics for events that promote the arts and humanities at UNC SOM.

Historian: Maintain and curate Iris's social media presence and organize records of past issues and submissions.

Treasurer: Manage financial logistics and work closely with other board members to develop an annual budget, seek out and organize efforts to apply for appropriate funding sources.
