Help Needed: Maple Grove Nest Box Project

Do you have 1” x 6” boards that could be cut to make the pieces necessary for these bird boxes?

Do you have the time and tools to cut lumber, pre-drill holes, and cut the entrance holes into a “kit” for students to assemble? Note: Your willingness to do this does not mean that you are required to furnish the lumber.

Would you be interested in guiding students in the assembly of nest boxes? Would you have a cordless drill that we could please borrow on the day of nest box assembly? This will take place on March 10th, time to be determined.

Would you be available to assist students in mounting the nest boxes? March 17th, time to be determined. We will need a few drills on this day as well.

Would you be willing to please donate $5.00 (or any amount is welcome) to our project for the purchase of hardware: screws, nails, nuts, bolts, and brackets? (Please send it in an envelope to school marked “Nest Boxes.”
