Seminar Subcommittee description
MRS has recently partnered with Duke Materials Initiative (DMI) to help organize several materials science seminars. MRS plans to create a subcommittee responsible for coordinating the details of the events such as advertising, reserving rooms, catering, and connecting with faculty. In the future, we hope to expand our responsibilities by contacting potential speakers which can provide networking and leadership building opportunities to our members. Our initial steps are too form a subcommittee and begin planning Fall semester events along with virtual seminars as soon as May. Please let us know if you are interested in signing up!
