Jessica Dickinson and her colleagues at North Tyneside Council at Cobalt Business Park gathered donations in their office for our Saturday 2nd April collection.  We met Jessica in January when we were presented with a Spirit of North Tyneside award.  She loved what we were doing and said she'd love to support us in some way in the future. So in March she got in touch and instead of just doing her own street, she decided on going bigger and better....donations boxes at work!!  Thank you Jessica and all your colleagues at North Tyneside Council.....you all donated 81kg to Cedarwood Trust which will help stock their Nourish Store.
Craghall Care Home in Jesmond have a collection theme every month.  The  public, carers, friends, family and residents all contribute.  In April they collected clothes wash and tinned meats, which was so appropriated! Next month their theme is Afternoon Tea, so tea, coffee and biscuits.
