KGV Orchestras sign up - Expression of interest form 22-23
Are you interested in signing up for one of the orchestras this year at KGV? Please complete the interest form below. Contact Ms Carlile in the Music Department if you have any questions - alexandra.carlile@kgv.edu.hk

Here are the options - 

KGV Junior/Training Orchestra Years 7-9 - Tuesdays: 3:40 - 4:30pm
Open to any student that already learns an orchestral instrument and has achieved at least grade 3 level - (strings, woodwind, brass, percussion)

KGV Senior Orchestra Years 9-13 - Tuesdays: 3:40 - 4:30pm
Open to any student that already learns an orchestral instrument and has achieved at least grade 5 level - strings, woodwind, brass, percussion. Violinists must have achieved a minimum of grade 6 level.
Repertoire from a range of different styles including classical, fusion, popular and show tunes. Opportunity to perform at KGV assemblies and concerts/events.


Advanced Chamber String Orchestra Years 9-13 - Wednesday lunch: 1:40-2:10pm
Via audition only. Violinists should have achieved a minimum of grade 7/8 level.
Other string players - a minimum of grade 6. More advanced chamber material for a smaller ensemble group.
Students should also be a member of the KGV Senior/Junior Orchestra.

Repertoire from a range of different styles including both classical, contemporary, fusion and popular. Opportunity to perform at KGV assemblies and concerts/events, as well as more formal KGV/ESF/community events.
