From Mr. Anker Tests
Nelson, Tough Guy
It was Monday. Nelson was trying to memorize his times tables. He looked everywhere for the best method to learn them. His neighbors watched as he laid his flash cards out on the lawn. His mom suggested he write them over and over. He recited them in his mind as he walked to school each day. He was desperate, because he knew the test was on Friday. Nelson was tough though, and kept at it, all week long, until he knew all his facts by heart.
