NCFI runs a number of educational and participatory event series. Please indicate all of the series you are interested in below. We will send invitations via text and email before each event.
Culture Club: A Book/Movie/Art/Podcast Club with a Social Justice Twist! Join us for a little "me" time as we read or watch and discuss interesting works of art and reflections of culture in a fun, no-pressure atmosphere!
Letters-To-the-Editor Workshops: Learn about current legislation and issues, write letters to the editor to submit to local newspapers. We will have everything on hand that you need.

Rural Values Deep Canvassing. Lets Flip Florida!
JOIN A TEAM or COMMITTEE! Do important work and do it with a fun bunch! Time commitment varies. Minimum 5 hours per month, can be online or in person per your need.
Antihate Team: Antihate Action (online and in person) We use data-driven strategies to work within institutions and at the grassroots level to combat and dismantle hate in all its forms.
Democracy Team: We advocate for robust, transparent structures that enable the exercise of inclusive, equitable, responsive and representative democracy. We encourage all constituents to participate in the democratic process and work to remove obstacles in their way.
Wellness Team: We create spaces for self care, community and fun with a social justice twist
Research & Writing Committee: We serve all the Teams with well researched facts, and support them in getting our message through. We writes Op-Ed's, blogposts, fact sheets, and press releases - and anything else that may be needed.
Social Media Committee: We make social media posts, moderate Facebook, runs twitter, IG, TicTok etc.
Culture Club Committee: We plan and facilitate the Culture Club, a book & movie club with a social justice twist.
Member & Volunteer Support Committee: We welcome new members, manage member and volunteer databases, and generally make sure that our volunteers have what they need to be successful
