SHSU Dance BFA Audition Registration Form - AY 2024-25
Use this form if you are auditioning to start as a dance major Spring 2024, Fall 2024 or Spring 2025. Juniors in high school may also use this form if they are auditioning for early admission into the Dept of Dance. 
 
To be accepted into the Department of Dance, candidates have to audition as well as apply for admission to the Sam Houston State University by completing an online application through www.applytexas.org. Candidates are highly recommended to start their application to the University before auditioning.

BFA candidates do not need to prepare a solo. The dance faculty will teach ballet, jazz and modern movement phrases, with an improvisation opportunity.
