Dear all, it is April 2020 and the world is in isolation due to the COVID-19 crisis.

We architects are no doctors, nurses, emergency services - or food supply workers. In the current state, we do not have an essential profession and cannot do anything useful to help. Nevertheless, we also cannot stay aside and do nothing. So, we decided to use these rare circumstances to research how people deal with forced isolation in their current living conditions.

Over the last decades, houses have been designed in a relatively same way. Technical changes have been implemented, but hardly any have been made in the traditional floorplan and the shaping of spaces.
Now that we are all forced to stay indoors as much as possible, we would like to survey how effective these architecture plans still are. How can architects make a difference?
We hope this poll will give us a clear insight in how people use their homes, in light of recent demands in contemporary living, and how to adjust or design better ones in the future.

We invite you to join by filling out this simple questionnaire about the space you are currently living in and how this influences your mood. In return for your effort, you'll get an insight into the results!

Keep healthy and thank you so much for sharing your mood with us!
