This is a request for information to help the school to plan the Sixth Form curriculum for next year, to enable us to ensure that as many students as possible are able to access their preferred courses.  It will also support us to organise taster lessons for students as part of the Destinations Day on 20th February.

Sixth Form courses are organised into five ‘option blocks’, and it is not possible to study more than one course in a single option block.  It is therefore important that the courses you want to study should be in different option blocks and completing this form makes it more likely that they will be.  In recent years, 100% of students who submitted an Initial Choices form by the deadline have been able to study their first and second choice subjects, and about 90% of students have been able to study their third-choice subject as well.
